About Me: Corine Reid, PCT-A (she/her)
About Me
Hello! I’m Corine, and animals, especially dogs and cats, have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. For over ten years, I ran a successful dog-walking business, forming lasting bonds with pets and their families. That experience deepened my understanding of canine behavior and inspired me to take the next step: becoming a certified dog trainer.
My Journey as a Dog Trainer
As I worked with more dogs, clients began asking for help with behavioral challenges. I realized that to truly support both pets and their people, I needed to expand my knowledge. I pursued multiple certifications in ethical, fear-free training methods that prioritize trust, communication, and positive experiences. My goal is always to help dogs feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.
Fostering: A Labor of Love
In addition to training, I’ve fostered many dogs and cats through rescue organizations. Watching a fearful or anxious animal transform into a confident, joyful companion is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Fostering isn’t just about providing shelter, it’s about listening, being patient, and offering compassion. I’ve seen incredible changes when animals are given the space and support to heal.
